Reiki Session

Reiki (Ray-Key) is a traditional Japanese healing modality that means “Universal” (Rei) “Life-force energy” (Ki). It is a laying-on-of-hands energy healing modality, utilizing hand movement techniques and specific symbols, used to channel universal life force energy (the omnipresent energy that permeates all around us) via the practitioner directly to the recipient. It is a great way to balance and enhance the energy of an individual, activating, stimulating and accelerating their innate healing system and ability, bringing them back to their natural state of inner harmony, balance & oneness. It can also be used as an assist (alongside other forms of medicine) to treat a variety of ailments and illnesses.
The beneficial effects after having received a Reiki treatment include: pain and stress relief, immune system stimulated, increased energy, awareness and creativity, an increased flow of universal life force energy within the energetic and physical bodies, energetic blockages, and other ‘toxins’ are dislodged and released more easily. The most noticeable and immediate effect felt post a Reiki treatment is usually a general feeling of revitalisation, calm and a sense of well-being. Ongoing positive effects can be felt over a period of a few days.
What to expect:
During a Reiki session the practitioner places their hands in various positions either in direct contact with the body or just above, within the energetic field (aura). These hand positions direct healing energy to wherever healing is needed such as; the chakras (main energy centres), the major organs and particular body systems like the nervous system, although, depending on specific concerns or ailments, hand positions will vary. It is important to wear comfortable clothes as you will be lying down or seated for the duration of the session. A standard session lasts for about an hour. The first session, though, will include a 15 minute discussion to talk through brief medical history, needs, expectations, concerns and to answer any questions. At the end of it, we’ll use a few minutes just to review the session and provide feedback.
Receiving a Reiki treatment can result in a variety of detoxifying symptoms that are different for everyone. These symptoms are your body’s way of bringing blockages up for healing and release and last between two to seven days. It is also possible to not experience any symptoms. It is important to just be aware, drink lots of water, spend time in nature (it does wonders for the healing process) and most importantly listen to your body. It will support your energy body in healing itself.

The heart-wall, is an energetic wall around the heart made up of the energy of trapped emotions. Trapped emotions occur when dense emotions are either unprocessed or suppressed and become stuck or trapped energy within the body. These intense unprocessed or suppressed emotional energies, can negatively affect and distort the area of the body where they are stored, which ends up creating both emotional and physical problems that can lead to dis-ease. Over time this will trigger a response from the subconscious mind to form an energetic barrier around the heart by using these emotions as building blocks to protect you from further ache and pain.
This barrier is known as the heart-wall.
Even though a heart-wall protects the heart from intensely feeling further pain and dense emotions, it also keeps out all the good ones and essentially will almost make someone numb to feeling them or even noticing them.
Some symptoms of a heart-wall include: feelings of disconnection, feeling misunderstood and desensitised to life, feeling directionless and unsure about your life purpose, low energy and lowered immune system, blocks the ability to freely give and receive love, and good intentions, actions and love language usually gets lost in translation or does not get positively received.
It is important to remove a heart-wall because the heart produces the largest electromagnetic field from the body, reaching outwards in all directions, and whether we are conscious of it or not, it affects those in our environment on an energetic level, influencing how they respond to us. What we emit from our hearts can be felt by others, so if there is a heart-wall the positive energy that naturally emanates from the heart, becomes distorted and warped by the lower energetic frequency of the trapped emotions that the heart-wall is made up of.
The entire clearing process, on average, takes about 2 – 3 sessions, but can take longer depending on how many trapped emotions come up and are ready to be released as well as the integration time you may need between each clearing. These sessions are done remotely using distance healing. Distance healing is a form of energy healing that implements the concept of energy being able to move across space and time, by accessing the individual’s energy body. The energetic body can be accessed at anytime and anywhere so you do not need to be physically present for any of these energy clearings. All I would need to access your energy body is your consent to do so.

Just like physically clearing a room to prevent dust from building up, it is important to regularly clear out stagnant energy because on an energetic level, emotions, thoughts, and actions can also be left imprinted on the floors, furniture and walls of a room. The residue of unsettling energies from arguments, illness, traumas etc., can remain and disturb the balance and harmony of a space.
Space cleansing not only clears but also rejuvenates the environment, leaving it feeling refreshed and "back to normal" in a sense.

Aura cleansing assists in releasing the unwanted energies within the auric field, supports health and well-being by restoring energetic balance and creates more energy flow which leaves you feeling refreshed and with a sense of calm.
